DYNAMICS OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

Abstract

The issue of Criminal activities in our societies remains a major challenge. It is very difficult to eradicate Criminal activities from the societies. In recent years researchers highlight applied mathematics as valuable theoretical resources that may help us better understand criminal activity. In this paper we review the Berestycki and Nadal’s model of Dynamics of criminal activity and formation of crime hotspots. We also propose adding repeated victimization leaving aside the term ‘risk associated with cost for criminal activities’ in our model.
