The object of this paper is to obtain common unique fixed-point theorems for three and four compatible mappings of type (A) in complete metric space using rational inequality .Our result generalizes the results of Jungck [4, 5], Aage and Salunke [2], Shukla, Tiwari and Shukla [3].
