The present study deals with spatially homogeneous and anisotropic Bianchi type-V universe filled with barotropic matter and viscous dark energy in Lyra geometry. To get the solutions of the field equations, we consider the hybrid expansion law (HEL) for the average scale factor proposed by Akarsu et al. [69]. To differentiate between different dark energy models, we perform a geometrical diagnostic with the help of statefinder pair },{sr . The physical and geometrical behaviors of the model are studied in detail.
