We have discussed in this paper how to solve river flow problems by applying the method of characteristics including conservation of plastics. We studied a nonlinear method of characteristics to model the flow dynamics in all simulations presented here. Actually, characteristicsmethod or technique is another way to solve partial differential equations of nonlinear problem, an example of a conservation law .We introduced river flow problem as a nonlinear hyperbolic equation and deal with its solution. We consider the number of plastics particles and their floating density in a river channel by using the relationship between flow rate, density and velocity.
