We show that the main result (Theorem 2.11) due to Mustafa at. el.(J. Fixed Point Theory and Applications, 2019:16, https://doi.org/10.1186/s13663-019-0666-3) can be prove without taking continuity of the class of functions defined by Jleli et al.
